CHIESA DEL CARMINE

Founded in Norman times, it was later connected to the Carmelite monastery, founded in 1430. on the structure, some of the square gallery remains, a hemispheric cupola of late Byzantine tradition, placed on angular niches. There is also a gabled doorway and some ashlar windows. In the church there was a late Byzantine tablet depicting a Madonna with child, now in the vestry of the Mother Church.
