UNA PIAZZA PER GIBELLINA

A sculpture designed by Paolo Sciovacampo in 1979, formed by 12 elements in Travertine, of which 5 are egg-shaped, placed on a floor of square bricks, 5.95m by 5.95m by h 2.00m; since, as he himself states, “a single shape would have difficulty in satisfying the filling of a very large space”, and he distinguishes the areas destined for different uses: “resting areas for book reading, and/or to find shade and tranquillity”
