PALAZZI TODARO-MOLINARI E PISCIOTTA-CALANDRA

Significant example of late baroque building, the palazzo Todaro-Molinari is characterised by the presence of a high and austere doorway-balcony, underlined by the colour of the sandstone which makes it stand out against the neat façade. It takes its name from the Todaro family who had it built in the XVIII century and by the Molinari family who passed into it by matrimony.
Palazzo Pisciotta has a façade, dating back to 1799, with clear references to neoclassic style in the decoration and severe doorway with a balcony above it. Although it has been transformed inside, it still keeps its appearance of a noble home of the end of the  XVIII century and has kept its general layout with a courtyard and entrance stairway to the piano nobile (principle floor).
