GROTTA PREISTORICA DELL'UZZO

 

The presence of man in the territory is documented by prehistoric petroglyphs, paintings and lithic material found in numerous caves. Some incisions are visible on the walls of the Uzzo cave, in the Zingaro Nature Reserve, in which fragments of vases, flints, obsidian and over twelve human skeletons and animal bones have also been found.
