CASTELLO NORMANNO-SVEVO
The castle, which dominates the territory was built or reshaped, in Swabian times on pre-existing defensive structures; The layout dates back to about 1225 but the structure has undergone modifications, reorganisations and additional elevations. It has an irregular trapezoidal layout with an almost rectangular courtyard and three corner towers, one cylindrical (to the west) and two quadrangular ones (east and south). Twin Lancet acute arches open on the elevation of the courtyard and architraved in the high elevation of the hall and on the eastern tower. The entrance is made up of two acute arches of different sizes between which opened the rolling shutters.
