CHIESA DELLA MADONNA DI TAGLIAVIA O DEL ROSARIO

The church, also known as the Madonna di Tagliavia, was originally founded as a chapel in 1896 on the wishes of an inhabitant  from Vita who had witnessed a miracle. In 1933 it was trasformed and it assumed its present appearance. The cult towards la Madonna di Tagliavia, represented in a painting kept in the church, has its origins in the sanctuary dedicated to Mary of Tagliavia, situated in Corleonese. The festivity ends on Ascension Day.
